You not them. How setting an example of lifelong learning, self development and inspired living will do more for your family than worrying about inspiring them, motivating them and nagging them through their education. You can’t be “inspiring” you can only be “inspired”.
One of the greatest blessing we have given our children is the gift of travel. We have incorporated it into every part of our lives including their homeschooling. We have found no better way to understand the wonderful diversity of the world than to travel with hands on experiences. This has opened up our children’s minds like nothing else could. It has given them the opportunity to share their views and feelings about what they see and learn. It has in many ways given them a deeper appreciation of what they have been blessed with.
One of the reasons families don’t experience this kind of world travel is often because the cost far exceeds the budget. We have discovered ways that blow away the budget excuse. We have traveled 3 weeks in Europe with 4 children in tow for around $2500.00 total (that is for all 6 of us). That includes air, accommodations, transportation, food, fun and more. Come learn our secrets in this fascinating journey and about the incredible experiences that have come from our adventures.
Learn an easy, fail-proof method to learn how to read by deciphering vowel sounds with a song. Learn how to file foundation skills in children’s minds so they can find what they have learned when they need it.
In 1859 Charles Darwin published “the Origin of Species.” Previous to that time, the popular thought was that all of nature, and the origin of man, was the result of divine action which action included the creation Adam and Eve, the sole parents of all of the human race. What once was nearly universally accepted, the biblical account of Adam and Eve and the presumed “self – evidence” of man’s divine creation, which was so apparent to Thomas Jefferson and which “truth” he called upon in the “Declaration of Independence” to proclaim “that all men were created equal,” and that they are “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights”; we are now told is contradicted by scientific evidence. The “self – evidence” that Thomas Jefferson spoke of is really just an illusion. Our existence, as claimed by the Darwinian evolutionary scientists, came about by an excruciatingly long processes of chance chemical reactions refined by a mindless process of natural selection. “We need no God to explain the universe and life,” some scientist boldly proclaim. Is there really only one conclusion to this argument or is there another point of view, supported by scientific data, that we are not being told about? In this presentation, Vincent Newmeyer will sort out some of the tenants of public school science class as they relate to Darwinian evolution and discriminant between fact and the faith that pervades our public school science classrooms. We believe that you will find reason to likewise powerfully conclude that it is “self – eviden[t],” as confirmed by nature all around us, that “that all men [are] created equal.”
